Attention to Detail, No Matter What the Plot Twist

For Marci, there is a common denominator in the two different roles she plays, both in her work at Honor Escrow and as an editor for the author. "It’s simple," Marci notes. "It’s all about attention to detail, making sure all the I’s are dotted and the T’s crossed." Marci knows that in either role, people are depending on her thoroughness and professional expertise, and she works hard to deliver exactly that.

Managing Complex Chains of Events

"My work as an Escrow Assistant involves a complex chain of events working with multiple parties," Marci explains. She is proud of her focus and diligence as she reviews the signed purchase agreements, counter offers and addendums. "A basic part of the process is identifying contact information for all parties: listing and selling agents, Buyers, Sellers, transaction coordinators and title officers. It’s quite the cast of characters, just like an intricate novel," Marci laughs. "But it’s serious business we do, so everything has to march forward, accurately and on time. I enjoy building strong working relationships with all the parties involved."

The Power of Home Ownership

Marci believes strongly in the powerful benefits of owning one’s home from her personal experience with the process. "I think owning a home is one of the most rewarding experiences of my adult life," she says. "It’s the best investment I’ve made for myself and my future, and so I know how much is riding on each facet of the escrow process." Marci knows she’s done her job well when her agent clients thank her for how well she took care of their clients, and she also relishes when the buyers recognize just how hard Marci and the team worked on their behalf.

Personal Pastimes of a Social Person

When Marci is not hard at work on her escrow accounts, besides occasional work as an editor, she enjoys activities that are social in nature, such as hiking in local parks and recreation areas with her sister, niece and friends, attending gatherings with family and friends, and traveling with people she enjoys being around.

Other Hobbies and Interests

Marci also likes to read books to expand her knowledge and horizons. Decorating her home is another passion, both the interior and the exterior, through her love of gardening. Photography is yet another hobby she enjoys. But no matter what hobby, task or role she undertakes, you can bet that her legendary attention to detail will ensure the results will be spectacular.
